Chicago can now boast a new, world-class, antiquarian bookshop - Printers Row Fine & Rare Books - located at 715 South Dearborn in the heart of the South Loop's Printers Row neighborhood.

Printers Row Fine & Rare Books features high quality antiquarian books consisting of classics in world literature, philosophy and the natural sciences. The bookshop specializes in nineteenth and twentieth century fiction including Mark Twain, Henry James, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, William Faulkner, John Steinbeck, Saul Bellow, Phillip Roth, Toni Morrison, and many others. In addition, modern first editions of American, British and continental fiction are also available.

The proprietors have for years been deeply involved in the acquisition of fine first editions and other antiquarian material. The inventory is currently around 10,000 volumes.

Visitors to Printers Row Fine & Rare Books will find rare books in rare surroundings. The newly completed interior, designed by architect Wilbert R. Hasbrouck, has furnishings and atmosphere of a Victorian flavor, complimenting the volumes which are the bookshop's specialty. In addition to the comfortable, well-lit browsing area, there is a private viewing room in which patrons may examine books undisturbed. It is a bibliophile's dream.

Printers Row Fine & Rare Books is a member of the Greater Loop Book District, a diverse coalition of bookstores in downtown Chicago.
